For Preschools

The preschool years are an important period in a child's development.  A child learns new words and new skills each day.  A child also learns how to see.  Every child's success depends on healthy eyes and good vision.

Include a Vision First form in the registration packet

Vision First encourages all preschools to include our report form in each child's registration packet with a prewritten letter that recommends an eye exam by an eye doctor.

  • Reference Page  Explains the preschool report form.  If desired, the Reference Page can be included with the prewritten letter and the preschool report form.
  • Preschool Recommended Examination Letter  A custom prewritten letter recommending an eye exam by an eye doctor that allows you to add the date, your name, your preschool, and other information approved for distribution.
  • Preschool Required Examination Letter  A custom prewritten letter requiring an eye exam by an eye doctor that allows you to add the date, your name, your preschool, and other information approved for distribution.

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning.  But for children, play is serious learning.  In fact, play is the real work of childhood."
—Fred Rogers

Eye and vision problems are best detected and treated early.
